JAMZ – VOCALS & BASS

Jamz brings his passion for rock, blues, metal, country, and funk to audiences across the Pacific Northwest, playing everything from classic hits to contemporary anthems.

Born and raised in Oregon, Jamz was immersed in music from an early age. His grandmother and mother were both accomplished pianists, and his great-uncle played guitar in big bands, ensuring that music was always in the air. At the age of 8, Jamz became captivated by KISS and was especially drawn to Gene Simmons’ commanding bass playing. This sparked his desire to pick up the bass, and by his teenage years, he was teaching himself how to play by listening to Black Sabbath records. In the late 80s, Jamz started playing in garage bands and later joined the original metal band Flat Black Tomato. His raw, powerful playing and love for performance quickly became central to his musical identity.

Jamz believes in creating an engaging, fun atmosphere for the audience, focusing on delivering a performance that connects with fans and keeps the energy high. Whether on stage or in the studio, he continues to grow as a musician while staying true to his roots, always seeking to inspire and entertain through his music.

His influences range from the iconic sounds of Van Halen and Black Sabbath to the evolving waves of rock from the 1960s to today, creating a unique blend of old-school power and modern edge.

When he’s not shredding onstage, Jeff satisfies his need for speed with his favorite off-road hobbies, tearing up trails on dirt bikes and side-by-sides. This adventurous spirit fuels his music, bringing the same adrenaline and grit to his guitar playing.

With his masterful skills and magnetic stage presence, Jeff is a driving force behind the band’s unmistakable sound.
